Some things to chew on
[Under construction...]
- novelty – recognizing the different types (eg product, process, idea) and degree (eg new to population, a new combination)
- social – is the focus on social activities, social needs and/or social problems – ? definitions, who decides etc.
- organizing and organizations – what types of work? need for special skills/people? suited to particular organizational forms?
- change – how important is transformation/impact? To whom – individual, group, societal? The focus – process or the outcome?
- scale and durability – how can social innovations spread and survive?
- social innovation an inclusive concept or a catch-all – too broad, briefly topical and inherently positive-loaded term?
